EVENING NEWS - WA won't join education reform

Students at Murdoch University has organized a rally on Thursday morning and determined to make their voice heard.
Under the Gonski Education reform, Australian universities will face a 2.3 billion dollars funding cut. The Gillard government also faced another blow this week, as the WA Premier refused to sign up.
Mr Barnett claimed the reform is not fair for Western Australia, as South Australia will receive double the amount of funding despite they have half the population of WA. The Premier said the reform will also slow down WA’s education development.
